The White Masai

So in an attempt to be lazy and not actually read the book....the other day I watched "The White Masai".....Hmm, maybe it was a mistake as a friend recommended the book and now I feel like I have cheated and should still read the book...

The thing is I'm not sure its worth it now, I know what happens at the end....I bet I would have loved the read though....

    I watched it, too, Em! Did you watch it in German?! Not sure I liked her much, though-she seemed quite silly in a lot of things she did and didn't do: didn't learn the language, dumped her exboyfriend on a whim, took away her husband's child forever, set up a shop where they hadn't had one ever before (perhaps didn't need one, but she never really asked)...lovely film about the Masai, but it made me quite sad...
    Ah well, I miss the buses, the smells, sights and sounds of Africa, but maybe the film will make me see the realities...
    Hope all is great in NZ though ;-)
